This year, the Sorento also has more mechanical options in addition to its updated appearance. You can choose to get either a traditional gasoline engine or a hybrid engine with your Sorento for the first time. The Sorento also has a longer wheelbase in 2021, which gives you more room in the cabin and extra cargo space. 2021 Sorento Trims and Features
Five trims return to Rusty Wallace Kia in the Kia Sorento lineup for 2021. The first trim is the L. The L has 17-inch alloy wheels for an attractive exterior. Its cabin is equipped with all the amenities you need, including split-folding seats in the back two rows, cloth seats, a six-speaker audio system, USB charging, and a seven-inch infotainment display comes with Apple CarPlay, smartphone pairing, and Android Auto. Noise-canceling glass is added to the second trim called the LX. This trim has a power-adjustable driver’s seat as well and more seatback storage pockets. It adds more USB ports and a blind-spot monitoring system as well. An available convenience package adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather shift knob, and heated front seats.
The S includes all the package’s contents plus keyless entry. Its exterior is modified with 19-inch alloy wheels and black trim accents. With the EX Sport, you’ll get body-colored accents on the outside, a power liftgate, leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, more safety features, and a higher-end sound system. The SX trim, which is still the top trim, has a 14-way adjustable driver’s seat and a passenger’s seat to move in eight ways. While an eight-inch infotainment display is standard, you can now choose to upgrade to a 10-inch display screen as well. The SX also has navigation added to its infotainment display. This trim’s sound system is upgraded to a 10-speaker Harman Kardon, and it comes with satellite radio.
2021 Kia Sorento Horsepower
You have a choice of four engines with the 2021 Kia Sorento. The first engine you can get is a 2.5L with four cylinders. This engine has a top power output of 191 HP and 182 LB-FT of torque. An eight-speed transmission is standard. The new upgraded engine this year is a 2.5L with four cylinders. This engine adds nearly 60 LB-FT of torque from the previous engine, which translates to a maximum of 311 LB-FT. The engine produces 281 HP. The engine can tow 3,500 pounds. You can also get a traditional hybrid powertrain with a 1.6L engine that produces 227 HP or a plug-in that makes 261 HP.
